Nelson Partners Australia was formed to provide a highly professional, specialised business consulting and valuation practice. This was to include freehold and leasehold "going concern" valuations, together with special direction of Aged and Health Care consultancy for the financial sector and the Industry. The combination of formal valuation, banking history and Management Diplomas provide a sound background for undertaking these assignments.
Nelson Partners has developed into a consulting valuation and business practice over the past 20 years to service our client base, which includes all major trading banks, accountants, financial institutions, receivers, solicitors, owners, public listed companies, boards for the not for profit sector and private individuals.
Our consulting practice endeavours to bridge the property industry between owners and the financial sector. It is not only a real estate valuation practice, but also a consulting valuation practice to provide in-depth reports to enable accurate final decisions to be made. The practice maintains a highly professional, individual service. Over the past 15 years our Health and Aged Care section has developed to the point where 50% of our work is outside our base state of New South Wales.

David has over 35 years of experience in the property industry. During his valuation career, he has carried our all types of valuations, both in city and country areas across every Australian state and territory.
David has undertaken a wide range of valuations, majoring in aged and health care, hospitality, retirement villages and one off "going concerns". They also include real estate, proposed to be erected and progress payments, property acquisition and realisation valuations / negotiations, as well as "going concern" valuations on aged care and retirement villages, health care facilities, child care centres, crematoriums, mortuaries, motels, clubs, caravan parks, abattoirs, vineyards and specialised businesses.
Some of David's recent portfolio assignments include: Regis Aged Care Group, Blue Cross Group, Blue Care, HammondCare Group, Aegis Aged Care Group, Craigcare Group, Gold Age Group and Cook Aged Care, Domain Principal Healthcare (now Opal Care), Christadelphian Aged Care, Christian Brethren Community Services and Catholic Care.
David's involvement with the Aged Care and private hospital sectors started in the mid 1980's and has included both valuation and consulting, ranging in size from 30 beds to 600 beds. He has been part of commercial due diligence for mergers of private and public health companies and is regularly invited to lecture at the Australian Property Institute, University of Western Sydney and University of New South Wales as well as being a keynote speaker at some of the major banks' industry seminars.
David is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a Certified Practicing Valuer. He has an Associate Diploma in Valuation and an Associate Diploma in Farm Management (USOAC).
